woops I was wrong, MassiveRican said it was working great on nintendont, but didn't mention analog triggers... someone else said it was digital only. My bad.
The weird thing is, the triggers have the holes that would be used for the analog slides. What it really weird is that the original classic controller has analog trigger buttons. Now that I found out that Nintendont can emulate the analog triggers on the Wii U Pro controller I have no more issues with Super Mario Sunshine and I can run and spray with the best of them. By holding the "L" button, the "ZL" and "ZR" buttons are treated as half held analog triggers.
I am really glad I didn't get one. With it being licensed by Nintendo you would think it would have all the features of the GameCube controller minus the rumble since that can't be done to a Wii Remote accessory.
