Hacking Nintendont

How the heck do I exit Nintendon't using a PS4 Controller connected through USB-cable.

I've looked at the exit Nintendont Section and tried every combination I can think of, I can't reset, exit, open the Nintendon't menu, nothing requiring any button combination works. I had to shutdown the console with a press of the power button (which thankfully DID work, was afraid I was gonna have to force shut it.)

Edit: This is while in-game, launching Nintendon't from the vWii menu if it matters.
 
Does anybody know if there's a 'wiiu nintendont' forward' that plays the gamecube boot animation ......Or how to to make that happen on the wiiu side....My virtual vwii 'nintendont' app plays the animation, sweet ....the wiiu forwarder launching the that vwii app, does not play the animation ....Am I missing something ...like a different or newer forwarDER ? ....It just doesn';t feel As Good without that sweet cube .....honestly it my favourite part of gamecube. bootcube.

Can't help you with what you're looking for but have to agree that's my favorite nintendont boot screen version as well. Guess I need to get around to modding my Wii U's. If you come across it, please share a link to it for the rest of us.
 
After going around for 4 hours here's where I got: nowhere...after dumping the boot animation 'ipl.bin' file off my real Swissed out cube and putting it in my nintendont folder .... I can still only Hear the sound from the animation ...not see it ....SWISH......it's just the static image of nintendont logo

not the forwarder itself ....(SO it must be)

... maybe there is a forwarder that plays the boot animation on wiiu splash screen like in vwii but I can't find it ....

you can use the gamepad .... But I found other forwarders I like more ....,, the sound glitches out HARD for a second when you launch a game .....

This one in Funky Scott's video : is great, it just has no boot animation, it does have gamepad support.

So I'm back at square one ..no'me sayin. ..with my old forwarder .... illusive gamecube boot cube. ! ... Gamecube is too OGed....

I even tried making nintendont.ini : with these settings to force the forwarder, it just laughed at me :
SkipIPL = 0
IPLRegion = USA

Still nada . Gamecube 1. Wiiu 0.

No sounds glitch, kind off ......

The boot Sound plays when you launch the app with the wiiu splash screen ....
When you put the ipl.bin in the nintendont folder and changing the ipl setting in settings ....

You get the animation ...When you launch a game ....but you get no sound....

I don't think that Wii U boot application is compatible with "animation" anyway, all app you can find always have a single static image.

I think your right, I thought I read somewhere that the TecMoon injector only supports static images...Thats probably why ...not sure where I read that.
 
So, for those who are currently working on Nintendont, any hopes on fixing the Super Mario Eclipse audio streaming bug in the next update?
 
Well... the developer of it says Nintendont is bugged and not the game. Which is a very interesting scenario...
like extremz said if you burn the game to a disc and run it on the gc or wii you wont get audiostreaming either. it works on like dolphin and swiss and such but its not a correct code.

Maybe with that statement, it feels like the developer refuses to fix the bug and would rather say Extremz is wrong and blame Nintendont.

yup nintendont cant run gamecube homebrew unlike swiss or dolphin because nintendont searches for functions and patterns and then patches then accordingly so they are interpreted correctly in wii mode, meanwhile homebrew follows no laws they use those functions for different means or just use totally new ones created by the devs themselves, nintendont cant find patterns and the functions he patches are probably not used in the same manner as gc games because homebrew doesn't follow the gc sdk that is why nintendont cant play gc homebrew at all if they change what a function is supposed to do it wont work and will crash, eclipse team said they reverse enginired finding nemo audiostreaming and used that, clearly they didn't do it correctly becuase nintendont cant find the function or patterns and even burned it doesnt work even on a real gc only when being loaded by swiss or dolphin is that it works so something they missed along the way imo.

Swiss has to do the very same things Nintendont does. That's not where the issue lies.
Since Eclipse Team said the community will be updating the game now (from GameBanana), maybe someone in the community can find a way to audiostream it correctly and then the issue is fixed.

And honestly, its a shame there is that bug because I love Super Mario Eclipse.
 
Hi, can I use this adapter for Wiimotes with original GameCube controllers in Nintendont? Don’t see it listed in the Controller section.
