Wave Race Blue Storm is said to be compatible with Nintendont but I get a black screen. I wasn't on the latest version of Nintendont but I upgraded and still get a black screen. The compatibility list says "widescreen issues" so I made sure widescreen and progressive are off but still doesn't work.
is your iso md5 checked? take a picture of your nintendont settings, 99% of issues are user error.

It came from a multi game dvd-r that I made a few years ago and I remembered having problems with it when I used discs. Maybe I shrunk it I don't remember. I am redownloading the iso.

im guessing it was a trimmed iso and was desaligned and nintendont doesnt like desaligned games, just get an iso before using it check the md5 to see if it matcches redump so the bad iso could be rulled out.

Red means the titles aren't aligned correctly for some reason. Not sure how they worked before.

I'd recommend reripping the games to the HDD anyway - it'll work better than DVD-R.

Going back a few versions and v4.433 is the first one that doesn't give me the red titles. All of my multidisc DVDs are giving me the RED titles, except for discs with just 1 game on them. The games are REDUMPs and I still have the original files backed up. To make the multidiscs, I used MultiGame ISO Creator v3.5.4F+ for the last 6 discs or so. Before that I was using v3.2.4F+. None of the games are compressed.

Yes, I know putting them on HDD is better. My HDD drive is full of my emulator roms, WII games, and many GC games already.

make sure games have the correct name path isos need to be named game.iso

so something like SD/usb:games/anynameyouwant/game.iso

are your isos on sd or usb? make sure there is space to creat a memory card and if your iso is on SD make sure your sd card isnt locked...
upload_2017-2-20_14-51-26.png

So I rename all of these to game.iso?

@bryceone If v4.433 is the first one that doesn't have red titles, then that changes things, since my multi-game changes were before that.

v4.434's only change was recompiling with devkitARM r46, devkitPPC r29, and libOGC 1.8.16 (and fixing compile errors). It's possible that something in one of those updates broke the multi-game code.

I'll try building a test image sometime this week and see if I can reproduce it.

everything seems ok, if your sd card fat32 formated? what nintendont version are you using? and are you choosing sd card on boot up? if you can take a picture of your nintendont screen before choosing between sd card and usb.
Sure. It'll take a little bit though. And yes, my SD card is fat32 formatted, and using the most recent version of nintendon't for the vWii

Download here and follow the instructions... worked for me.

https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont

Quick Installation:
  1. Get the loader.dol, rename it to boot.dol and put it in /apps/Nintendont/ along with the files meta.xml and icon.png.
  2. Copy your GameCube games to the /games/ directory. Subdirectories are optional for 1-disc games in ISO/GCM and CISO format.
    • For 2-disc games, you should create a subdirectory /games/MYGAME/ (where MYGAME can be anything), then name disc 1 as "game.iso" and disc 2 as "disc2.iso".
    • For extracted FST, the FST must be located in a subdirectory, e.g. /games/FSTgame/sys/boot.bin .
  3. Connect your storage device to your Wii or Wii U and start The Homebrew Channel.
  4. Select Nintendont.

Also try using a External HDD because according to the site, SD card and USB flash drive causes problems.

Notes
  • The Wii and Wii U SD card slot is known to be slow. If you're using an SD card and are having performance issues, consider either using a USB SD reader or a USB hard drive.
  • USB flash drives are known to be problematic.
  • Nintendont runs best with storage devices formatted with 32 KB clusters. (Use either FAT32 or exFAT.)

Okay, I'll try that. Here's a video of me trying to start Nintendont
