As far as I know, it's a known issue with Pokémon XD. It even happens in Pokémon Colosseum but not to the extent it happens in XD. It's not even isolated to the Classic Controller Pro. It happens with my official Wii U Pro controller.

That's weird. I wonder what causes it. But it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who has experienced this.

Out of curiosity, what version of Nintendont are you using and please don't say latest. I want to know the exact version number (3.123 for example).

Oh thanks. I updated it.

Have there been any problems with using the Classic Controller Pro when playing Wind Waker?
no unless its fake then it might have issues.

The issue in colosseum and xD its unknown it happens on boot up, something is set up and says full up is down but if you start the game without that trigering it wont ever happen again.

I need help for GBA-Link support. I am playing Megaman X Command Mission. I start use Treasure Radar and it said error connection. But I am using gba-link to my Wii. So why it is not working?
Maybe I miss something in setting? Because I never check the setting.

I am using this kind.

gba link cable only works with native ON wich mean original wii only with gc ports, and you need a gc controller to control the game since all other controllers are disabled.

Just mentioning this, at the mall last night I found classic controllers for Wii on sales so I gave in and bought one, the regular classic controller not the pro one since it's compatible with more games, I bought it especially for when I mod my Wii U I have something reliable to test with for Nintendont and other homebrews so now I shall be ready to upgrade.

btw if I softmod the vWii will I still be able to play Wii U games online normally with updates and such?

Nintendo hasn't touched the vWii in quite some time. Last time they did was back on 5.2.0 and it didn't affect softmods.

think of vwii as a totaly diferent console altogether, unless you brick vwii it wont ever affect wiiu side at all.

Also i have an orignal CC and i dont recomend it at all lol, the joysticks are awful, its a tiny controller, the wiimote cable comes towards you instead of out, sure it has analog triggers but that isnt even worth it over something like wiiu pro on wiiu.

for nintendont imo.
GCcontroller>wiiupro>wiiclassicpro>wii classic controller.>wiimote+nunchuck

I know the Pro controller is more comfortable and has a charge ability so it's naturally better for Nintendont but I went with the classic controller because it has better compatibility with Wii games and VC

Is there any way to remap the input for the classic controller? (The one you plug in to the wiimote) the controls seem off to me..

So yeah, I just did a HID controller test with the Mayflash N64 Controller Adapter. The values changes for all the buttons which makes it compatible.
However, it doesn't work in Nintendont.

What do I need to do to make it work in Nintendont?
Thanks.

false lol wii pro controller is compatible with all wii classic controller games, so if any game supports classic controller it will support classic controller pro you probably didnt knew that.

if you press minus you can rotate the 4 buttons on the classic/classic pro and wiiupro. But only the 4 buttons, any other change would require recompiling nintendont.

you need to make a controller ini obviously, search for the controller ini thread somewhere in this forum.

Now you tell me -_- I remember asking here a while ago and I was told that the Wii U Pro controller doesn't support games that support regular classic controller, does it also work with old Wii games that are compatible with the classic controller too like Sega Superstars Tennis?

I misunderstood then, what they had was the Wii U pro and the Wii classic controller only at the mall, oh well maybe someday I'll get one of those GC shaped classic controllers I see them often but they're not cheap.

The Classic Controller Pro is the only one they make now. The slippery lozenge-shaped one was discontinued when the Pro came out.
