HID error

you need a compatible controller with the correct controller.ini in the root of your sd

Thanks for the quick reply! I overlooked that part of the setup. But let me get this straight, I HAVE to use a USB controller? I can't just use a Wiimote with the Classic Controller plugged into it?

Yes, unless you had a regular Wii with Gamecube compatibility, you'll need a USB controller The easiest one I think is the PS3 controller, but that's just me :P Just be sure to rename the ini file to "controller.ini"

Thanks for the quick reply too! But that sucks... is there a reason it has to be a USB controller? Is it possible a future update would allow you to use a Wiimote+attatchments or is there some kind of limitation in how the Wii/Wii U calls upon the GameCube hardware that it HAS to be a plugged in controller? Only USB controller I have on hand is for Xbox 360 but I don't see any controller.ini files for that.

I've heard mostly good things. Unfortunately I want to be able to use a Wavebird and have full Analog should input be recognized and I don't think any mayflash adapter works that way just yet. I want to confirm but I can't put the cash down on something I'm not certain will not work or not. If I could return the product maybe.

I've tried Nentendont SD with success running Zelda, but I get a DSI error running Nintendont USB Beta7.
I'm using an original Wii with Gamecube Gamepad, no SD card or Gamecube Memory Card inserted, running all off USB (no games found with app on SD), all settings off (Video Auto)
Can anyone explain why this error occurs. All the games I've tried result in DSI error.
Also when it gets to "Reload" it never actually reloads, I have to hold the power button to turn off the Wii.

But a wired controller would work decently, I think...?

I wonder if the bluetooth stack included with libogc can run on ARM (with Nintendont). If so bluetooth could be simple. And we could get CC support also.

Talking more, working less. I should actually try this, but I'm too lazy...

Could sommeone try this ? Because my usb controller isnt working every time i launch a game i get error 4, my ps3 dualshock is connected and the controller.ini is located on the sd root. What can i do?

classic controller support would give so many more options for controller support (with adapters that is)

Are there Mayflash adapters for the Classic Controller? If there are, a config file would need to be made, but I'm not too sure on how well Mayflash performs on Nintendont.

the sd version needs to have the usb plugged in the front right port. The usb version needs it in the bottom back port

you can probably plug it in the front left port to but I never tried
