Hacking tinfoil "the software was closed because an error occured" . Can anyone help please.

Actually you no longer need to use Kefir, there is a patched that allow you to use Tinfoil on 21.x.x

does this support eshops because thats my primary reason for tinfoil i mean i would ude kefir but breeze gen2fork doesnot work on it and i need that for making asm cheats for now i will be making a folder on my sd card one for the kefir patch3 and the other for the normal one so when i need tinfoil i just replace patch3 with kefir one and when i want to make asm cheats i go back to normal one

cyberfoil supports eshops im testing one right now although it seems stuck after login it got to 100% but has not loaded the games yet i will report back when i know for sure

Late reply here, but I use it for my own "shop". I keep as many backups as I can, on my NAS. Useful in cases like Metroid Dread where some earlier versions have glitches that you can do cool things with, that were patched out later. Easiest way to downgrade a game version is to delete the whole thing, then install the base and the lover patch...

Of course there are other ways to get things done, such as dbi backend, but using your own "shop" is just more convenient, because you don't need to be near your computer to do stuff (other than adding more stuff to the shop, I guess).

Edit: looks like I need to look at this "cyberfoil". This is new to me.

are you refering to the devs of tinfoil because this definitly seems true this cyberfoil seems neat

i can confirm cyberfoil supports the eshops i got it working but it is realy unorganized there is updates and dlc grouped with installed games as if they are already installed when they are not and you cannot select what you want to install like you can in tinfoil for example in tinfoil you select all dlc and latest update or choose not to in this app when you install you have no idea whether or not its including everything the other major issue right now is extremelyslow loading of the eshops. i hope this is sorted out because this app has a ton of potential to be far superior to tinfoil

cyberfoil doesn't like my shop, using PHPinfoil. Of course it works in tinfoil (when tinfoil was working). I go to the web address on my PC, and the list of games opens. I try to open it in Cyberfoil, and I get the error "Failed to load shop" "eshop returned the login page. Check shop URL, username, and password, or enable public shop."

There is nothing in the Cyberfoil settings or readme that I can find, about enabling public shop...

i would not use cybershop i contacted the dev about all the issues and he said its only for personal eshops like if you back ups on your own server it does not seem like he plans to fix the organization issues as for the eshop thing if you go into settings you will find the option to add a eshop just follow the onscreen instructions from there but honestly i would wait until somone fixes tinfoil if your public shop is not your own its sad because cyberfoil has a ton of potential

I already said it's my own shop. I know how to add it, it just doesn't work. Not sure I want to figure out setting up Aerofoil. Never used docker stuff before. It's already a pain finding my way around settings in my NAS at it is.

Does tinfoil actually still work, for the most part when I last used it for the heck of it,downloads just fail. I’m not paying to use any shop, never understood why people would.
