Hacking tinfoil "the software was closed because an error occured" . Can anyone help please.

So i updated to 21.1.0 today. Updated Atmosphere, then the firmware, sigpatches etc. Games work (some that ive tried) , but tinfoil starts and as its doing its processing stops with this error.

Can anyone help please.

Tinfoil doesn't support 21.x.x

Do not use tinfoil, all the shops are closed and the only ones are sign up and pay for access

you might have to downgrade your HOS to a version tinfoil supports or wait for tinfoil to update

There is one alternative, you can use kefir Atmosphere for now if you want to use tinfoil on 21.1.0.

all i did was replace the atmosphere/package3 file from the kefir repository and it got my tinfoil to work,

but now my boot splashscreen shows the kefir blue and yellow splashscreen, and in system settings it shows KEF-792 instead of AMS, is there any way to change these?

do you know if there's anyway to remove the kefir atmosphere boot splashscreen or restore the original? the atmosphere/package3 file works great and tinfoil is working again, i just dont want to see the custom splashscreen when i load up my emummc

You have to rebuild his Atmosphere version, if you want to change splash and the kefir name inside system settings.

If the only thing needed from kefir to get old homebrew working on HOS21.x it should be possible to rename package3 from kefir to something else and have it on the SD card alongside the original ATM package3 file. Then create different entries in Hekate using each of the package3 files so you can easily boot whichever version you prefer.
Am I right about that or am I missing something?

You have to rebuild his Atmosphere version, if you want to change splash and the kefir name inside system setting

if you are talking about that panda pic that flashes just before it launches to hos just go into atmosphere/exefs/ and delete the folder that says boot logo also just an fyi this works with fw 21.20 as well its what im on
