Can I get some little help, please?

I have this USB PS2 HID that I'm trying to make work with Nintendont. I start up HID Test V6, everything's fine, I press buttons, move sticks or press the d-pad and it works as values change in different offsets, I follow the steps provided in one of the first posts to modify the controller.ini file, I change the VID and PID, save the file and everything OK. I boot up Nintendont, choose a game and start it, it loads the USB HID correctly but once I'm in game it DOESN'T work! What am I doing wrong? :(

I'm also having the same issue using a chinese wii motion plus with a chinese wii classic controller pro...

EDIT: Fixed, apparently the "Power" offset and value were causing issues...

rename your controller.txt file to controller.ini

To verify you did it correctly, Right click the controller file, "Properties" and next to "Type of file:" it should say "INI File (.ini)".

It's an ini on my SD card, so if it works on HIDTest, but not in Nintendont should I just assume it doesn't like my controller?

Nevermind, I got somewhere, but my camera keeps spinning. So I should probably look into getting a new PS2 controller.

What are the cStickX values (left, center, right)?
What are the cStickY values (up, center, down)?
Do booth sticks appear to count by 1 and move smothly across the entire range?

I downloaded and renamed controller_ps3.ini to controller.ini, and I can't shoot with the right trigger in super mario sunshine at all.

What version of Nintendont are you running?
Loader 2.162 (Wii U) Built: Sept 20 2014 17:22:00 firmware 58.25.32

I presume that's the newest build.

What happens when I hold the trigger is that he stays in place, but shoots no water. Sometimes when I move around after letting go he'll spurt a little on his own. I tried this on 2 dual shock 3 controllers.

Hello. I'm sorry if this question has been posted before and if i'm not posting it in the right section of the forum. I have searched google but, I am stuck. I can't get the wii classic pro controller to work with super mario sunshine on the WiiU. First off, I am not sure if the mayflash adapter should be placed in the front USB ports or it has to be in the back. Both my back ports are being used by my HDD. I have the controller.ini file in the root of the HDD and I used the correct file from the controllerconfig folder that came with the nintendont zip.

I need help.

Thx in advance.

If you are loading games with a USB an HID controller HAS to be plugged into the back ports. Try finding an HDD with it's own powersupply so you don't need a y cable.

HOWEVER ,if you have a wii remote and a classic controller plugged into it, and disable HID loading from the settings, you can play wirelessly via bluetooth.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
