Nintendo Video coming to 3DS tomorrow

For some reason I can't download videos... But the UI is SLEEK! And I adore the background music

Edit: I just watched the Magic 3D Episode and the 3D is mind blowing

Watched the first clip, quality is good, but the 3d effect isn't very good. It says it can download even when not in the video app or even in sleep mode, but I gave that a go, went back to the 3ds menu, closed the lid, went back a few minutes later, opened the video app, nothing had downloaded. So now im leaving the app open till all the clips have downloaded.

I just saw this, gonna download this for my 3DS as soon as I get home. So, it's basically a glorified nintendo channel?

EDIT: Did some more reading, so This is for Japan only? That sucks..

So how is it? How does it look?

It is mainly a interface with 4 panels (for now I guess) and it seems to download the video automatically and when you have spotpass on it does it even when shot off apparently. Atm there are three videos: a magic-trick (1 min.), a animated cartoon (7 min.) and a backstage-tour of a famous german rap-group (3 min.) (all in 3D).

Well if it's the same for everyone you'll get a 'magic show' (I turned it off when the first thing I saw was a card trick), and two cartoons (one about cats and one about some reptile thingies) geared towards little kids.

Apparently all video files are stored as .app files on sd card with a .tmd file and a directory with a .cmd file.

Is there any way to bypass the region lock?
I've got the app but the content isn't available in my country.
Why isn't Sweden part of Europe when it comes to these kind of things!!

Edit: I've changed the region from UK to Sweden and it seems to work now, although I still doubt we'll get the same amount of content as the UK.

I tried to change my region to Dutch for the cat cartoon and it didn't work either.
Apparently the service verifies if your region fits your ip address.

The Eshop ad showed Shaun the sheep and other random things.

It downloads first then you watch it you dont stream it.
Also you can change the options to make it download automaticly using spotpass.
