Hacking Nintendo System Update 4.0

I downloaded the wii system update (4.0). Is it possible to remove the update and take it back to 3.2? If so, how???

Just did a quick search on here and found the virgin wii tutorial which I found quite interesting. On a wii that I softmodded, the hack remover would not work, I just got an error message of some kind that I cannot recall.

Sorry, when I load hack remover this is what I see:

Ininializing ISFS.................Success
Deleting /shared2/hacks.ini......failed: 106

why do you want to downgrade?

4.0 is the best FW IMO... you get all the homebrew ability + an SD Card menu.

looks awesome with wii games stored on a hard drive as channels

the hack remover will remove files that preloader has put on nand. if you don't have preloader, there's nothing for it to remove

How do I use it? I installed the .dol file through the preloader but what do I do now??
