No traitor won any money, but some entitled slacker did some posting. :creep:

Yeah, this is what I want to know too.
Wasn't this already fixed on 2.1.0?

I mean, I'd be much happier making thousands of dollars helping Nintendo rather than helping enable entitled people like you to steal games.

That's true but will Nintendo thanks you ? Yes and no. They will thanking you for helping them out but what will you get from them ? Maybe not enough. They are making a billionaire dollars and what do you get ? Think about it. They don't care about you.

Yeah whatever, new Nintendo Switch update, with lower center of mass.
(because not enough bad jokes on stability)

Don't be tempted to update if you are on 2.0 still. Plutoo has made a lot of progress.
(and you can still get on the eshop)

But what about all the nay-sayers that said "YOU CAN UPDATE, THERE'S NO HARM!!" or "IT'S SO EARLY, NO HAX WILL BE OUT YET SO UPDATE!" - Yeah, hope they learned their lesson. I'm sure more will be available down the road, but Plutoo had this released before 2.1 was even available, even as a userland it's an entryway for potentially more access that could already be blocked.

Also, this is probably a showing that their bounty program is working as intended.

Its sad!! get a life!!! Update your Switch please, enjoy it and stop worrying about god damn homebrew...support the console & hardware for the time being, forget about hacking with this console else you will destroy it, if you help out at an early stage like this and that time will come in a few years maybe but not for now, leave well alone I say and let them work on an exploit for a firmware update much later down the line cause they will do that, so please stop worrying!. Why do you all think all big 3rd party developers are holding back with there games? there waiting to see if this sort of matter exactly happens to the Switch and your feeding the hacking trolls by doing so

You will kill it off and that's inevitable by supporting the exploits so early! Remember by leaving your console on an early firmware to be exploited, its not just you your helping out affecting its life span, your also helping many more do exactly the same with a console that has such massive potential! this console maybe, is probably one of Nintendo's most successful device ever produced and it will help them get back in the "saddle" as they say but by helping these early hacking trolls out your destroying what could be the best! 3rd Part Developers will not make games for this console if its hacked so early on in its birth and that is a "FACT" there just waiting for this sort of error to surface and without 3rd Party Developers like Capcom etc.. your killing it, asap.. just think about it please if your unsure before you quite updating

Edit: don't get me wrong an exploit will surface but let it happen much later! they will work one out eventually but for now its way to early and could have massive consequences.

Not even close to true. You're not going to kill a console by hacking it. Doesn't work that way.

... Are you actually telling people to not hack the console, in GBATemp of all places?

People will hack it, there is nothing you can do about it.

And no, hacking a console will not kill it.

Well devs might have less interest in developing for the console if their games are just going to be pirated... But I dont think it will die entirely. Just faster

Oh yes it does... and please don't tell me homebrew is for homebrew apps like "snake" cause that's complete bollocks and I have read, seen & heard it all before. An exploit is an exploit no matter how much you want to sugar coat it off as, it will lead to back ups without a doubt and there will be no turning back.

Now you're changing your point entirely. You went from killing the console to backups... Make up your mind.

No I'm not, I'm asking for people not too support an exploit to this system so early on, that's all, update & enjoy let them work an exploit out much later on with a firmware! I feel quite strong about the Switch and I reckon it will be something that will really take off but its looking bleak if people are holding back just because of an exploit to run on there consoles. I'm all for an exploit don't get me wrong but much later at this time its just going to destroy what could be so good.
