Just a FYI..I'm still not banned, been online for more than a week now on SX OS, still never played an online multiplayer game but been updating games and just online...yesterday bought Hollow Knight to spend my gold coins.

I haven't tried redeeming them. I suppose they are already redeemed. Also that seem like a big red flag to try and get gold point for backups.

Because I'm lazy, use Statistics for the Lazy to check names of those who were banned with SX OS without LayeredFS. Some were purely offline, some were mixed.

I'll likely not be able to get proof or pictures, but I can let you know that three units have been banned for a friend of mine from SX, and more are sure to follow unless people stop buying them. He's prepping them and selling them in his country, all of them have been banned now. They're sold with the warning that the units can/will get banned but I don't think he provided any specific instructions.

They're bought new, prepped for SX OS, and sold ready to go. Probably means: used online, updated in SX OS or OFW, and all sorts of unknowns.

I would say a video on that one a non eshop ban, but also could be a cert ban only

I have cleared logs 2x prior to some errors trying to run backups with LayeredFS, that's probably what flagged me. Also, I don't know where I can test if I can use eShop outside the Switch

@laurorual See if it lets you download anything from the eShop on the website. This is used to determine if your account is banned because currently your console is banned. Also, second Brazilian to report a ban today...

For argument's sake, yes, but it has not been proven yet. You'd have to make up some type of story that Nintendo believes is good enough to un-ban you depending on whatever you did or think you did to get banned. There is certainly no harm in trying to call Nintendo and see if they are willing to un-ban you but do not get your hopes up.

There is nothing to lose in calling Nintendo and trying to get them to unban your console. I'd advise to make as believable a story as possible based on what you think got you banned in the first place. So far, no one has reported unbanning a console successfully but maybe you can be the first.
