I wish that controller was available for Android. It looks really damn slick and would match my tablet!
Design looks like... Gba, psp ps vita, gp32x, ngage....
That actually does look very similar to a switch. But there's been other ones similar to this too. It's just not an original design. Lawsuit's not gonna go anywhere.

Similar idea, different concept. If it goes to court and I were the judge, I'd laugh wikipad out of court and give it to nintendo.
buttons and a screen? if anything wikipad ripped off the original gameboy

The Switch always did remind me a bit of the Phonejoy which came out in 2014, however it's not really anything like the Wikipad.
None of those have removeable grips. That's the key design feature. To say it looks like those is really farfetched.

It does. See above. Gamevice isn't suing because of the wikipad, it's "gamevice, the company that makes the wikipad, is suing"
It's an iPad mini. With gamevice 3rd party controllers.
Side note: my phone wants to correct gamevice to gamecock.

Nintendo's Game And Watch was a ripoff of Milton Bradly's Microvision.
I Think that if something we've learned about nintendo is that they have a capable legal team, and it's not likely for them to release a high legal risk product, that not a nintendo behavior.

Nintendo lawyers are no idiots (or sony) i doubt if nintendo gets the switch C&D'd they'll recover slowly but on the bright side devs might have more breathing room hacking it if sales are banned (it would be deemed an illegal product so i think nintendo can't do shit with suing scene devs also their bounty program will be invalid meaning we're free to do as we please with what switches are already out
Honestly if they didn't have the resources they did I could see Nintendo losing but a) they have better lawyers and b) the Joycon are capable of using a hardwired communication protocol, something that is explicitly stated in the NX patent and something that I doubt Gamevice included in theirs
