Honestly, this is stupid. The Wikipad flopped, so there's no reason for them to sue.
that's why they are perusing this fools errand of a lawsuit . their broke!

But what about HD rumble and motion controls, and NFC and $50 controllers? O_O

Wait, they have a pro controller and 3rd party controllers, they could just sell it with pro controller until redesign can happen for joy cons.... or LET US US OUR ALREADY PAID FOR WII CONTROLLER! O_O

Pretty sure Nintendo has a patent for the joy-con no? So really this lawsuit has no leg to stand on. By these standards companies like Moga could file lawsuits against Gamevice for creating a product that does the same thing and the design being ever so slightly similar.

"If Nintendo loses this lawsuit, the Nintendo Switch could be banned from being sold."

I hope so.
I wouldn't even mind it, honestly. The value of my Switch would skyrocket. That said, Nintendo will win this case, that thing is nothing like Switch. Even forgetting that it's two separate joy cons, the sticks are in completely different positions, the D-pad is completely different, and I don't even know if that thing has triggers or shoulder buttons. Let alone HD rumble, amiibo scanning, etc.

It looks nothing like the wikipad. Wikipad will loose this lmao

Even so, it would be cool having a rare console

Honestly, this is stupid. The Wikipad flopped, so there's no reason for them to sue. Plus, one of the planned features for the Wikipad was no-glasses 3D so that company was using concepts from the 3DS for their own device. They shouldn't pursue this lawsuit because they are going to lose it
That's probably why they're suing. If it flopped they probably made nothing so they might be trying to get money this way. They have no case, and if anything the Wikipad looks more like the Wii U gamepad than the joy cons look like the Wikipad. Not only are they going to lose, they're going to waste resources if they pursue this.

Would be funny if the Switch got banned but the similarities just aren't close enough, otherwise at some point nothing can be done anymore because everything is somehow patented already. :P
