In 30 some minutes, Nintendo's Iwata will be delivering a keynote speech where he might confirm several rumors. 1up has a liveblog going on at the same time, so you might want to check it out. Don't worry if you can't see it live; I'm sure you'll get all the info you need later.

Anyway, both Wii and DSi shop channels are down and Team Twiizers was able to confirm that a firmware update is coming, apparently it blocks IOS16 and hence, downgrading from 3.4 is blocked now.
