The new updated Nano Assault named EX is coming to the eShop at March 7th on European eShop.
Right now Shin’en is trying to release the game in USA on the same day but they haven't confirmed that yet.
The EX version will have new modes, updated visuals, support for the Circle Pad Pro and online rankings.

Price? Not yet announced.

Never played the original, videos on youtube look VERY good. Love a good shooter and i prefer games like this to be on eshop as its more a quickplay type of game which i dont like having "carts" for plus, the "updated visuals" tag on a game that already looks fantastic? Sold!

I got the original for $3. Getting this once I get another eShop card solely to check out the new modes and get some CPP love.

Another sexy game I'm getting. Not a big fan of shmups, but ever since this game was announced I've been wanting to buy it. Print runs was abysmally low though. It hit the shelves with 1-2 copies and then never came back.

At least this one goes to the eShop, so availability will never be an issue.

Game was listed on the press release today, £12.49. Not so bad since it's an enhanced version of the game with extra modes. Can't wait!

So does that mean that it's gonna be 12 Euro?
I hope so cause if its gonna be more then i am not gonna buy it.
I'll rather save money for Fire Emblem.

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

    I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
