Nintendo DS Pokemon Diamond

Hello, playing Nintendo DS Pokemon Diamond, I got stuck in an area completely dark, and the only thing I can see is my character. I can move it in all directions, but can see nothing else. I see the description for the areas like Lake Valor, and Mystery Zone. By mistake I saved it there, so do not know how to get out. Can somebody help>
