It is not a Metroid. You don't need much more than the Treehouse Live and E3 Trailer to realize what type of game it is.
A game full of cute hunters working in some Monster Hunter like type of game that is just not Metroid.
Metroid atmosphere is about solitude, loneliness, nostalgia... Where the hell did that go?

Armored Wimps: Federation Force looks like a cool game actually, just don't call it Metroid. Call it Final Fantasy for all I care, I find in it so many non-similarities with the FF franchise as with Metroid.

Hm. I wonder why Nintendo is waiting so long on releasing any info about the NX. Sources say it's supposed to be out this year. They're cutting it a little close with potential marketing, hype, and such. The Direct will probably have one or two "surprise" titles; Paper Mario and one of the codenamed leaks, and the rest will be release dates. We're closing in on E3, not much longer before Nintendo has to spill the beans.

They already said NX will be discussed in the next fiscal year, which begins in April. I expect a NX direct just before E3, either April or May. Then around E3 time the full blowout.

Actually during E3 a fully operative version of the console will be presented and it will be possible to play Zelda NX on the company stands. Lucky people that can go to the E3.
