According to Nikkei, a major Japanese newspaper, Nintendo will be using NetFront like othe non-pc electronics use. It is likely that they will use version 4.1 which includes flash, html5 and much more pc like features. It would be up to Nintendo to keep or remove those features.

Someone reason I thought NetFLix which would be awesome too.

Flash doesn't automatically mean youtube (or other video sites) because playing a native flash game and decoding streaming video in realtime (with buffering) place two different kinds of tolls on the system.

Unless the 3DS is a lot more powerful than I think (in the CPU, NOT THE GPU) I'm willing to bet there's no youtube unless something specific is done for it.

+ html5 can play videos too right ?

you meen like the wii
it has youtube but some pages like pandora radio dont have enough ram to run
that may be a problem
but 3ds has more ram then wii
88mb vs 96mb
and the gpu has more video memory
and who knows, maybe the cpu is near the same clock
thus
it might actually work

For me, any browser will do so long as I am quickly able to look up guides
for a game online. (Thanks to 3DS multi-tasking)

3ds actually has 64MB's RAM. That number you got was from the leaked 3DS showing the total RAM(64MB's) + firmware NAND(32MB's) = 96MB's

Meh, as long as it's a lot faster and smoother then the DSi's Internet Browser, then I'm fine with it. Although Flash would be pretty nice.

It's going to need more than a small increase in system RAM for flash stuff, and more GPU RAM won't do shit. As for the CPU power, we need to wait and see.

rayder its possible if they use a different processing scheme... how powerful is the ipod to run videos? wouldnt the 3ds already have reached it considering it has to do much more work with multitasking?

Rayder is another person...

The videos would have to be sent directly to the device, not through a web page viewing youtube. For this a custom app/whatever would need to be made, which is a possibility I mentioned before.
Like the Gotube on psp?

youtube would be nice but like someone else said so long as I can quickly get to basic sites for aguide or something ill be fine. I cant imagine the 3ds browser getting much use from me since I have my phone with me at all times.
