Ninjacam in 2022?

so I've looked at ninjacam and it looks like it no longer works/outdated on the system and all you get is a black screen when you try to use it. Would it be possible to make an updated version that would work and would someone do it? I really want this because I can only use my 3ds while at school and at night when everyone is sleeping and that shutter sound is like hell in either of those situations. I just really want a way to be able to use it on my 2ds or someone to explain why/why not it wouldn't work. Thanks
