Hacking Next M3 FW Fixes (g6team Please Read)

Im having an issue with 3906 - NRL Mascot Mania.
It lets you do three levels then bombs out to the main menu.
i have the m3 ds real and have tried M3/G6 DS Real Firmware v4.3g X46 (E/U) and
M3Sakura Ver1.40 X The Europe/USA Version, bot fail at the same spot.

ive read elsewhere this rom works on an aceckard 2i.

havent had issues with any games before.

Any ideas ?
 
the latest firmware [6440]G6_M3DS_R_E47.zip still does not fix roms 3903 and 3906. Will there be a fix soon ??
 
Hi guys,

I now have 4 M3 Reals, an M3i ZERO a M3 Simple and a couple of M3 Slot 2 GBA/NDS cards.
I think they are fantastic products
2 things:

1. Please Please Please can you fix this game for my Girls!!
[1080] Pony_Friends_EUR_NDS & [1117] Pony_Friends_USA_NDS
Until the 4.2c x36 firmware upgrade, then the rom will boot correctly. I have tested with 4.3h x47 plus Sakura 1.40 and it is a problem again with both screens showing WHITE. Will you be able to fix this in the next release please?

2. Fix Sakura so the RUMBLE works with the Rumble RAM Pack please. Rumble works 100% with Rumble Pack in Sakura but not with Rumble RAM Pack.

That's a MicroSD issue, not a firmware problem.

Actually this is more of a common problem on the M3 products. An easy fix when the opening scene comes up is to close and open the screen of your DS alot and you should get past it.

what game and what cheat did you used? and make sure that you're using the newest 1.40x firmware
 
Well what happened was I added a cheat to GTA:CW and after that the cheats for it won't work, I've also tried v1.35 and that didn't work either. They worked perfectly before when I was using 1.12+a. I've already tried re-installing the system. Maybe deleting the .cht file and creating another one would work?

Edit: I deleted the .cht and re-configured the cheats and now it's working fine.
 
Found a major bug (i think) after upgrading From the old 1.2 sakura to the new one.. i am unable to get past disk check.. i have 98 r**s and have 1gb space left and i tried restarting and reformating... so obviously (atleast i think it is obvious... pardon me if i am wrong..) there is some file that freezes the disk check (it stops at the same % and file number every time... anyone know how i can get around this without deleting all my stuff?

Any reply would be great since atm im without a ds

1. You're not without a DS you're just without a flashcart

2. Try completely reformatting (don't do a quick reformat) or try using some of the reformatting tool on these forums (search for it).

3. Once you've reformatted ONLY put the system folder on there (use the latest Sakura) and see if it works. If it does slowly add files back on to narrow down which one is causing the problem.

It's most likely in your NDS folder or it's an uncompatible homebrew (such as dsorganize).

I Deleted the NDS folder and it booted in a milisecond

You might want to start by looking at your .sav files. They should all be 512kB in size, so if you find any that are smaller or larger than that, it's the likely culprit. DeltaBurnt basically already summed up the appropriate course of action you should take, but here's a little more detailed info from the original Sakura FAQ. Follow the numbered steps to maximize your efficiency in systematically figuring out which file is causing the lock-up.

*EDIT*
If you sort your files by size, you'll have a much easier time.
 
A have a problem:

How do I fix this without reformatting my card?

You can't (properly) without formatting the card... BUT, you shouldn't lose any files in doing so.

Just pop the MicroSD in your computer and copy everything across to a temporary folder (on the computer) before formatting the card (I suggest using the Panasonic SD Formatter).

Then once formatted, copy all the files from the temporary folder back onto the clean, blank card.
