Gaming new units of Nintendo ds lite question

Hi, just a quick question

Did brand new Japanese ds lite units from Nintendo come in sealed boxes or unsealed?

I can't say whether the Japanese retail DS Lite models have seals on boxes but maybe some useful information for you regardless:

All the Australian stock DS Lites that I bought did not.

Though the DSi and DSi XL did have transparent round stickers on the boxes.
