i'm not sure what you mean by can't seem to play the nds save games so i'm ganna leave that alone and help a little w/ your music and videos question.

the answer? Moonshell... on the R4's main menu with the 3 buttons have you ever pressed the middle button? it should boot up moonshell if it doesn't you probly don't have it on your microSD card, i'd go about finding it and installing it.

and music you can just copy onto your card and place it anywhere. i don't believe moonshell can read FLAC or AAC tho so i'd stick with mp3's (all i have, so i can't test anything else) but movies are a different story.

the movies have to be DPG format (well don't have to be but its the recommended format of the ones that it will play) and in order to get your movies to dpg format theres tools out there you can use. I personally use BatchDPG it works great, theres a lot of tutorials out here if you do your searching. also if batchdpg doesn't work theres some other tools like DPGTools i believe comes w/ the moonshell package at its homepage.

best i can do for ya

so yar: mp3's just drag n drop anywhere on your card and boot up the Multimedia thing from the R4's main menu and search for your mp3's and just play them with the A button

works a treat imo. and movies you're ganna have to convert to DPG and then you do the same thing and boot into the multimedia tool and find the dpg file, press a and it should start playing.

Uh, I think that you may want to edit your post. Discussing where and how to get ROMs is not allowed I think.

Forum Rules said:
"Warez" & ROMs

"Warez" is an internet term used to describe software, film, music, games and data piracy.

  * GBAtemp provides news and information on ROMs and general scene news ONLY.
  * We DO NOT HOST ROMs or provide links to websites that do contain ROMs.
  * Members may NOT ASK and MAY NOT PROVIDE LINKS for and to websites that provide ROMs for download.
  * We do not condone piracy in any way.
  * Please go elsewhere if you only wish to download and share ROM files. The GBAtemp Forums are for discussion only.

These rules also apply to other "warez" too, not just ROM files; this includes (but is NOT limited to) - licensed movies, music, video games, console games, software, magazines, comics, television shows, etc. These rules also account for "keygens" and "cracks" including how to obtain, apply or install them. This can also include methods to bypass and/or circumvent any licensed materials without paying for them, or circumventing the security protocols.

Those are the most frequently broken rules, and are the most important. Failure to comply with these rules may result in an instant ban on your forum account.

Never mind, as long as you didn't ask for a ROM link you're okay. How you find ROMs is up to you and you cannot share on this forum.

Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware

I used a vertical touch 22" monitor for playing some 3DS games through Citra.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Can't be that far off from it not like ds requires super hardware
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
@K3Nv2 I did that using Citra for 3DS games. Bottom screen was my smartphone. Until I got the touch screen.
  • SwordShielder @ SwordShielder:
    Use a TV
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Citra allows it already?
