I know, betas are very often quite buggy

We will fix those bugs once the final release is here xD

I was playing around with the oasis design again, and changed some things:

The light plam-trees acting like the old ones (like in the original nsmb)
The dark ones act like quicksand, because you cant stay long in the Branshes. You start to sink down

The Log on the right of the image is the climbable Log.
The sand down the puddles is darker now, like mud.

Is it better now, or are still things there what should get fixed?

yeah, we changed the textures, but not the snow textures. We changed the fire textures

The problem was, that the format of these textures is ".nsbtx"

If we import a picture to it with the NSMB editor, all of the transparency gets filled with a random colour. We had to draw the rain inside the HEX editor (yeah, we had to analyze the HEX numbers of all the colours) to avoid this silly bug in the NSMB editor.
When we imported the texture with any other editor, the game crashed

I'll finish W2-4 soon. The Oasis Tileset is finally finished and now I am workin nonstop on W2-4!
