Hacking New R4 Shell!

i find it odd the pins are not separated since most DS games the Pins are separated

It really would depend on whether you prefer the spring or not.

I just received a new shell r4, and I can verify, there is no spring, cosmetic changes on outside (edge grooves) and also no pin separation.

Anyone know if I can use an old shell replacement? Say from: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4396

Its been verified to have no spring in the 14 threads that have popped up in the last two weeks.
