I'm getting errcode -4 on both YS and TTmenu for Lufia - Curse of the Sinstrals

shouldn't it be working?

It's not working for me too.
I only updated the savlib, infolib, and extinfo since I'm using the auto-booting Moonshell.

Could that be the problem?

well its working for me,using latest tt stuff and yasu..  yup,as darkworldz said "its working.. google v6.33 infolib.dat.. and download the full set by retro.."

Oh, I just figured out what was wrong.
It seems that using the patch retrogamefan provided on Lufia's release doesn't work.
And the Undubbed ROM doesn't seem to work either.

It worked when I tried using a clean ROM. Weird...

The Known Games that Do Not Work text file with 6.33 states that the Extinfo for Super Scribblenauts needs to be "fixed".

i beleive you can crack it!

Also want to report Rock Band 3 not working, as it is not on the list of Known not-working games.

Boots to black screen, very odd.

Missing extinfo i guess.

Be carefull between using only the three files and using the complete files...

It's too bad, because retro dont explain why we (maybe) need to use the complete pack...

And about language is not good, because DSTT and YSMenu kernel cant be used in other languages!!!

Just a bigger file size, But R4 original with ysmenu works mabe diffrent

The two games Super Scribblenauts (E) and (U) load with them files from retros latest - just the loop issue

The sims 3 decrypted - loads but can not find save data

Dose anyone have thease issues with the new firmware for DSTT + updates ?

I have added the new r4patch.dat in his files - but i still think i might need to convert TTMENU.dat with a diffent program, as i mentiond TTMENU.dat still give me a 0kb r4patch.dat - unlike the old ttmenu.dat

I will try a diffrent ysmenu genrator!

The clean english ROM works.
The undub ROM gives me a errcode=-4

Any ideas or just wait until Retro/Pong adds it to the .dats?

Every patch you have used has changed the sectiod part of the encrypted GameID - the gameId in both extinfo and infolib will come useless

You need ttdt.exe to copy the original gameid + fix inside of that Game-ID - use http://gbatemp.net/t258415-thread-for-peop...t&p=3208714

to encrypt a copy of your new patched game + r4cce to get the new gameID - then edit with ttdt.exe infolib and extinfo.dat from the original game-id clean rom - make a copy and paste of the orignal and edit new encrypted gameID with yours

(Note) remember encrypt a copy of

your new patched game and get its new full new Game-ID , but play with the original rom as is!

Your real problem is that you are using DSlazy.
DSlazy unpacks the games and practically creates another game, making the ID different and in fixes, the undub isn't registered.

So.. the solution for this, is very simple. You should use NitroExplorer2b and replace both sound files inside the game with the JP ones.
NitroExplorer ONLY replace files and not change ID, so you will have a undubbed Lufia DS in the legal way.
Test it and will work, i tested and it works like a charm.

It's strange that I only used the final undub patch on Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (clean ROM) and it worked.
I think the Lufia undub patch actually changes the ID while the RF3 does not.
Didn't know that DSlazy changes the ID.

Note to self, "Don't use DSlazy too much , especially on really new games with AP"
