New 3ds xl battery cover?

I got my 3ds in 2017, and I love it. I'm worried about it breaking, though. When I homebrewed it about 6 months ago, I needed to take off the back battery cover to access the SD card. When I took it off, the cover turned out to have a stripped (or whatever you call it) screw slot and could not be put back on. I have tried to find a back cover with no luck. Does anyone have a link?

same thing happened to me. a good idea is to buy any back cover and spray paint it.

you didn't try to unscrew the screw all the way did you? it's supposed to stay put, since there are washers for both screws to prevent them from coming out.
