Hi, I bought Super Mario BROS. for the NES (The first game in the series!) and it runs and I can control it etc. but the display does not update. What I mean is that the initial video frame does not change, the display remains static, frozen, still, etc. while I can hear my actions in the background. Pressing HOME updates the games display in the background but it remains frozen after resuming play from the HOME menu just that it now displays a new frame.
So my question is, aside from somehow having the console enter and exit the HOME menu 60 times per second, how do I fix the display? SNES and N64 VC titles perform fine as do Wiiware titles. I have a Samsung Series 6 650A 46" LCD TV and the PAL Wii is connected via Component A/V.
