WiiPower...
Whats the difference in the versions of the MIOS (V4 & V10) when the installer can use both of them?

One difference is that v10 would block Action Replay, if it wasn't patched. I chose V10 mostly because it won't bug with -1035 anymore, and people will stop complaining that i'm not using the latest version. I'm sure it doesn't make it difference if patched MIOS is not selected.

If you have the random crashes when going into GC mode too, you might want to try the new cMIOS.

It's all working here with the v4....everything is fine...
Just thinking in what you said, if patched MIOS is not selected...then WindWaker will freeze at the Map Screen, right?
If so, i would have to change my v4 to the new installer with v10?

Anyone able to get 007:Everything or Nothing able to work? I have been unsuccessful booting it with beta 44

it goes to the loading screen..

tells me that it uses DVD read funtion 2

gives me a couple of warnings about the audio streams.. then it says loading ...

and then the system reboots..

this is the only game I have been unsuccessful so far at loading. Anyone ever been able to load this game? I haven't tried it yet via a USB device but will give it a go.

Has anyone gotten like Spawn to work on NeoGamma? It works perfectly fine with Gamecube Launcher v 0.1 and v 0.2 but all I get is a signal lost on trying to boot to it using NeoGamma it just will not work at all. Other games with no luck either.. and if I try MIOS mode it reboots immediately on trying to load the game.

What warnings about audio streams? If it's not 32K aligned audio streams, these will cause some kind of error eventually(the 32K fix option might fix this, but using a 1:1 copy or at the very least: fstfix with at least 't' is the proper solution). Also the audio fix might change something for the game as it really has audio streams(unlike 95% of all games).

And trying the forced reloader might be worth a try, all the 007 games seem to have .elf files.

Did you try all video modes? GC mode MIOS just boots MIOS, and it NOT supposed to play any backup if you have the recommend cMIOS installed. If you have the recommend cMIOS installed, everything should work with GC mode internal.

Do you use component cables? Do you get the same results with the crap cables?

For 007: Everything or Nothing these were the warnings I received.

Again it starts out saying:

The game uses dvd read function 2
WARNING: could not patch seek
WARNING: could not patch read audio
WARNING: could not patch audio config
WARNING: could not patch audio status
audio stream bit set but no audio streams found.

Then it says waiting, then launching game, and then it reboots.

cIOS38 rev17 is the current cIOS that I have installed. I also used a cIOS 222 Installer v4 for uLoader (not sure exactly what that means as I am fairly new to the Wii softmodding scene). I do not know if upgrading to a different cIOS will help at all. Although at the bottom of the NeoGamma menu it says IOS249 rev 17.

The game is a 1:1 copy on a multi-iso disc, no shrinking or anything like that was done to the game.

As far as using a USB backup, I have yet to get anything to work with a USB HDD attached to the back. I have no problems with other Gamecube backups though.. so far I have played about 10 with no problems, only this Bond game.

I tried setting the reloader to forced instead of fast, but that did not do anything. I do not know if there are any other settings I should try.

"audio stream bit set but no audio streams found." -> The game does not have audio streaming, but the discid says that it does. If the game had audio streaming, then these 3 would be critical warnings:
WARNING: could not patch read audio
WARNING: could not patch audio config
WARNING: could not patch audio status
Now they are just annoying.

I can't say if the seek warning is important, i haven't seen any game yet that acutally uses seek. But on the other hand, i haven't seen any game where it can't be patched, and i haven't seen any dvd read 2 games either.

If other GC games work without probems, then the cIOS should be fine, if you want to make sure, then install cIOS56rev20, that's what i'm using in all my testing. Also the 'new' cMIOS from the 1st page.

So the audio settings won't change a thing for the game. Try this(maybe all with forced reloader to only test them once):
High plugin
patched MIOS
patched MIOS + high plugin

If that doesn't work, i need someone with the game + usb gecko(retail or backup, both preferred).

007: Everything or Nothing

Reloader set to Forced

High Plugin - Does not work - same errors as before
Patched MIOS - Does not work - do not get the same errors (shows patched MIOS, get a green screen to flash, then reboots)
Patched MIOS + High Plugin - Does nto work - same as Patched MIOS complete with green screen, then reboot.

this all using current cIOS. Will try your suggestion and upgrade to new cIOS

I will report back once I do that.

Well I was directed to this tutorial.. http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-guides-t...s-your-wii.html and now my Gamecube games are working for the first time with NeoGamma. Appears I might of had a corrupt or missing IOS for Gamecube.. reinstalled the cIOS38rev17 and cIOSXrev19 on IOS36 and not the 249 and 250 I was on before.. the games working for the first time in Neogamma.

I upgraded to cIOS56rev20 - I know it worked because at the bottom of Neogamma it now says cIOS56rev20 slot 249.

as for the cMIOS I upgraded to v10 on IOS36 and IOS249, did not know which one I should be putting it on, but the install worked on both.

as for the settings again for this game:

007: Everything or Nothing

Reloader set to Forced

High Plugin - does not work
patched MIOS - does not work (same green flicker followed by a reboot)
High Plugin + patched MIOS - does not work (same as just patched MIOS)

I am getting frustrated with this game.. everything else works fine.. just this one..

The only IOS that's relevant here is the cIOS used by NeoGamma. Did you only install the cIOS or the cMIOS too this time?

I'm sorry, i think you have tried everything now. I need debug output for the game before i can say anything if or how to fix this. When i add something that might change the compatiblity, i will tell you.

Thanks WiiPower, I appreciate the help.

On another note. Since upgrading everything on my Wii, I cannot seem to load any PAL games. I am really frustrated. I was able to boot up Eternal Darkness using an older backup channel that would open up WiiGators Gamecube Launcher 0.2 -- I believe I got it working forcing PAL60.. however with this new NeoGamma, I do not have that option, only forcing PAL480i, PAL480p, and PAL576 which I have no clue what that is for.

Any special settings I have to use to get a PAL game to boot up on an NTSC Wii?

I could not find the roms in NTSC otherwise I would have downloaded them.

sorry, in addition to my previous post. I can get full Audio working. If I say yes to Patch MIOS and I put the Force Video so something like NTSC480i.. I just do not have video but I can hear the music, I can navigate the menus and hear the sound.. I am obviously missing something, but what could it be?

Try force video to PAL576i and then to PAL480i if it doesn't work. I hope your TV can use PAL?

Hey WiiPower, see if you can understand me...
I know that this version of neogamma is more related to GC loading but...
And i know i am a newcomer, and dont think what i am about to write is forbidden...
NeoGamma blocks the game update, right?
But i have an BIG game and i use DISC to play all the ones i have, since i dont have an ext HDD (and where i live the BIG DVDs are expansive, and i dont want to waste it), and to make this game work, some people are saying that is necessary to remove the update partition. But does not NeoGamma blocks updates? Is necessary to remove the update partition?

FIX94 : I had the game running before.. my TV automatically adjusted to 60 Hz to play it.. it could not have been just a one time thing.. obviously if I had it working before, then my TV can display the proper resolutions. There must be another setting somewhere that I am missing. because it is a PAL game and I live in Canada, I should be forcing it to an NTSC resolution? Just want to make sure I am not mixing something up.

update : if I force Pal 480i, I get a flickering screen, I can see the graphics, but they keep scrolling down the screen from top to bottom quickly.. getting there I guess..
