Whats the difference in the versions of the MIOS (V4 & V10) when the installer can use both of them?

Neonridr said:Anyone able to get 007:Everything or Nothing able to work? I have been unsuccessful booting it with beta 44
it goes to the loading screen..
tells me that it uses DVD read funtion 2
gives me a couple of warnings about the audio streams.. then it says loading ...
and then the system reboots..
this is the only game I have been unsuccessful so far at loading. Anyone ever been able to load this game? I haven't tried it yet via a USB device but will give it a go.
What warnings about audio streams? If it's not 32K aligned audio streams, these will cause some kind of error eventually(the 32K fix option might fix this, but using a 1:1 copy or at the very least: fstfix with at least 't' is the proper solution). Also the audio fix might change something for the game as it really has audio streams(unlike 95% of all games).
And trying the forced reloader might be worth a try, all the 007 games seem to have .elf files.
QUOTE(malaac @ Aug 27 2010, 06:25 PM) Has anyone gotten like Spawn to work on NeoGamma? It works perfectly fine with Gamecube Launcher v 0.1 and v 0.2 but all I get is a signal lost on trying to boot to it using NeoGamma it just will not work at all. Other games with no luck either.. and if I try MIOS mode it reboots immediately on trying to load the game.

Again it starts out saying:
The game uses dvd read function 2
WARNING: could not patch seek
WARNING: could not patch read audio
WARNING: could not patch audio config
WARNING: could not patch audio status
audio stream bit set but no audio streams found.
Then it says waiting, then launching game, and then it reboots.
cIOS38 rev17 is the current cIOS that I have installed. I also used a cIOS 222 Installer v4 for uLoader (not sure exactly what that means as I am fairly new to the Wii softmodding scene). I do not know if upgrading to a different cIOS will help at all. Although at the bottom of the NeoGamma menu it says IOS249 rev 17.
The game is a 1:1 copy on a multi-iso disc, no shrinking or anything like that was done to the game.
As far as using a USB backup, I have yet to get anything to work with a USB HDD attached to the back. I have no problems with other Gamecube backups though.. so far I have played about 10 with no problems, only this Bond game.
I tried setting the reloader to forced instead of fast, but that did not do anything. I do not know if there are any other settings I should try.
malaac said:Well I was directed to this tutorial.. http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-guides-t...s-your-wii.html and now my Gamecube games are working for the first time with NeoGamma. Appears I might of had a corrupt or missing IOS for Gamecube.. reinstalled the cIOS38rev17 and cIOSXrev19 on IOS36 and not the 249 and 250 I was on before.. the games working for the first time in Neogamma.
The only IOS that's relevant here is the cIOS used by NeoGamma. Did you only install the cIOS or the cMIOS too this time?
QUOTE(Neonridr @ Aug 27 2010, 09:22 PM) I upgraded to cIOS56rev20 - I know it worked because at the bottom of Neogamma it now says cIOS56rev20 slot 249.
as for the cMIOS I upgraded to v10 on IOS36 and IOS249, did not know which one I should be putting it on, but the install worked on both.
as for the settings again for this game:
007: Everything or Nothing
Reloader set to Forced
High Plugin - does not work
patched MIOS - does not work (same green flicker followed by a reboot)
High Plugin + patched MIOS - does not work (same as just patched MIOS)
I am getting frustrated with this game.. everything else works fine.. just this one..
