Thanks very much for RC1. I just installed cios rev17 and played a patched version of NSMBW just fine

NMH2 is only working for me in black and white... (video set to disc)

If i set it to force pal, or force wii (which is also PAL), it doesn't work with any combinations.
Anyone have an idea of how to solve this (if it is at all possible)?

Read in other blogs that PAL users with old TV's are getting the same result.

Well, English/Disc/All/Yes/No worked on one of my TVs... looks like i'll have to switch the tvs around or wait for euro release.

So something strange happened to my friend's wii. He already had an unknown modchip installed in it when he bought it, but soon soft modded it and everything was fine with Neogamma R7 rev 14. Games like RE: Dark Chronicles and Naruto Shippuden would load. We just finished burning Tatsunoko vs Capcom and NMH 2, and both give us the error "001: Unauthorized device detected.". So we decided to upgrade to Neogamma R8 Beta 17, with the latest CIOS, which I believe is rev 17. We still got that unauthorized disc error. So we decided to downgrade back by installing our old cios rev 14, and neogamma r7, and now, not even RE: Darkside Chronicles will work, giving us the same error =/.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this in, but I've been trying to fix this all day, but I can't find any solution for it. Our Wii runs system 4.2U and we use a 2 GB microsd + SD adapter for our HBC stuff. I was thinking of possibly "starting all over", but wouldn't know how to go about that. So help would be appreciated.

Oh and if people don't want this topic to turn into a convo just about this issue, I'd still appreciate it if someone is willing to talk to me through PMs or AIM.

I tried NSMB PAL untouched/unpatched image by BAHAMUT with cIOS38 Rev17 and NeoGamma R8 RC1 and it works just fine.

You can get 42" LCDs for about 200€ here, so this means nothing

Like these kids how think that a Quad Core copies files faster on a slow HDD than an E8500 or that they will get even better speeds on the wii if they connect a SSD drive (which they claim to have). And if you pm them to ask how good the speed was they tell you that they don't even have a SSD and are using an Athlon XP.

Nothing new yet. I think there's one wrong text output in the RC and everything is fine. Well fine enough to me, i don't really care about the rebooter.

That's sad. Because using the rebooter is much nicer, and then you can also see in the Wii Message Board how much time you played with the game.
Why don't you see any challenge in making a fully functionable rebooter? That would be awsome!

That would be a challenge i won't be able to win...

If i remember correctly, you tried almost everything, with and without preloader, different system menus and different cIOS and all without success. I had it working on cIOSrev13a or 14(not sure), on system menu 3.2 without preloader. Well if preloader was installed and not properly removed, NeoGamma will try to boot that. Oh, and i needed to insert the disc AFTER the reboot process.

If you manage to get it to work on a certain cIOS, but not on other cIOS, well you know...
