I just notised in on of future shops latest flyers the this Tv is selling for 600.

http://www.insignia-products.com/pc-231-1-...l-lcd-hdtv.aspx

They're both the same size and resolution but the price is a $400 diffrence.

My question is one are the significant diffrences and is it really worth it.

(also if you got any spesific tv recomendations feel free )

My 47" Westinghouse is coming in on Monday. I looked around and found it at newegg with a 100 dollar discount, so with shipping (100 bucks) it was 1400. Just last year the 42" version was going for 2 grand. So if you wait around, the price on the LCDs seems to be skyrocketing downward. The Westinghouse 42" is a great set and at 900 is a good price. Something to think about. Give it 6 months and you might save a couple hundred on it.

Some day in the not too distant future, people with wall sized sets will look back an laugh at how much we paid for these things. Heck, I remember when a VCR would set you back over a grand easy.

I've had a Westinghouse 42" for quite some time. It's very good.
