Need help with hacked Xbox 360

A few years ago my brother gave me his modded Xbox 360 that he got back in 2014, and just recently I decided to actually check it out. I'm very new to the Xbox 360's modding scene (and modding in general) so I'm a bit lost on where to start or what to do. What should I check first before messing around with it? Any guides will also help a ton.

Learn how/where to transfer content (including mod menus) from PC (or device from which content will be transferred), how to update Aurora/game titles, how to use dashlaunch, and how to copy game discs to HDD... that should be a good start assuming your console is running Aurora dashboard. Use keyword freestyle in place of Aurora if that's what dashboard you're using.

umm a blue screen did not in fact show up (then again there's still the chance i did something wrong but i dunno...) rip.

I called my brother to ask him if he knew anything about what was made to the console, and basically what he said to me is that he knew nothing about it BUT, he was told that it was 'modded incorrectly' (somehow.)

Also, pretty sure it was bought alongside a hard disk filled with games and stuff.

Does it have a weird looking USB thing with a flatcable sticking out going into the console? if so then you probably have an Xkey in there.

I'd recommend RGHing it, sticking with a ODDE or flashed drive is kinda useless these days unless you really want to be on XBL and stealth servers aren't your thing.
