Gaming Need help to change my PSP CFW 5.50 GEN-D2 to OFW 6.00

I need help to change my PSP 5.50 GEN-D2 to 6.00, when i want to update the FW, it said "The System Software of your PSP system is ver 9.90. There is no need to update".Can anybody help me how to change my FW. I still a noob at this kind of stuff. Sorry! AND any other way to change OFW to CFW.

I think the gen-d installer (xgen) can be used to install any official firmware. You will need a pandora battery to get back to custom firmware, though.
