Hey guys, Ive been lurking around for a while, and searched for days but couldnt find anything that would work for me. I got a Patriot Brand 8GB SDHC Class 6 card for Christmas, and no matter what I try, I cant get it to work on The Homebrew Channel. Ive got version 1.0.1 of HBC and IOS36 v4.18 if that matters. Also, my wii is 3.2U with the 3.3 Safe Update Installed. Basically when I put the SDHC in and start up HBC, it just says "SD Loading" and then goes to the blank bubbles screen as if there's not a card in there.
Ive tried formatting through My Computer on Windows XP (no luck), I've tried the Panasonic SD Formatter program (no luck either), and I was going to try the HP USB Disk Storage Tool but it tells me it's write-protected and wont do anything. Also, I tried going to Disk Management on Windows XP but it wont show the card there.
Ive successfully used a 1GB SD and two different 2GB SD cards on my wii, but I really want to get this 8GB working so I can load all my roms on there, and LINUX. The card is brand new, it works in my digital camera. I can put stuff on the card all day long, but HBC never sees it. Does anyone have any suggestions I can try? I've ran out of ideas.
Thanks.
