ROM Hack Question [NBA 2K19] Trying to get updated rosters

Hello all,

I'm trying to update rosters for NBA2k19. I'm not even sure if this was supposed to work, but here's what I did:

A guy on reddit managed to export his files using CHECKPOINT (he has the latest, officially updated rosters).
I exported mine as well, so I could compare. Upper image is my export. Lower image is his:



I moved his files into my SD card and restored his backup through CHECKPOINT with no errors.

When I start the game, I get an error that the file was corrupted, for every single of these files.


Any ideas on how to work around this?

Sadly it didn't work.
Someone mentioned that there's probably a kind of hash that prevents this from working

Oh I noticed that my save file had offline files and his didn't. Do you think it's not working because he backed it up online and we are trying to use it offline. Or maybe he could trying Edizon?

Copy all files from him to yours whitout Settings file. Done?
