I created a working patch in UPS format download here
you also need the tsukuyomi Ups patcher download

Instructions:
Download the above
extract tsukuyumi_v01.zip and run it
then choose "apply patch to an existing file"
choose the patchnaruto.ups as the ups file to apply
and in the second textbox choose your UNTRIMMED naruto rom.
that's all.

Translates main menu,character names and some other stuff.
More to come soon ^^

awesome update! lol another question about "Translates main menu,character names and some other stuff.." Do you mean on this latest patch, it includes the character names translated too or does it mean, on your next patch release? Coz if you mean on this one, the only thing i see is Main Menu fully translated and the "FIGHT" logo XD.. Nice job

I don't know much about macs but their is a MAC Version of the compressor I use. I'll try and compile one up for you.
Question do .bat files work on Macs? Or is there an equivalent?

i mean, the gameplay and graphic about naruto shippuuden shinobi retsuden I that i saw on the www.gametrailer.com was just really too crappy for words
i am not fond of naruto, but even if i were one, i would not play naruto shippuuden shinobi retsuden I.
so is this game really that good? i mean the Retsuden II ?
does anyone know a DS fighting game that is better than Jump Ultimate Stars or come closer to that?
