That link was to R4 firmware actually, nothing to do with the game. My bad for posting the link though, sorry about that.

Just saying, R4 1.25 running on M3 DS Real seems to run perfectly, using the SweetNDS ROM.
Wasn't looking for any credit, just posting more info =)

You still need retro's patch so your pokemon can gain EXP. Otherwise the game only kinda works.

Yeah, basically that. However, mine does seem to have XP gain. I've only played the first 2 battles, as I said I'm in college now, but it got the XP and levelled up just fine. Does it not restrict EXP gain instantly, just a few levels on?

Oh wait, just remembered, I did apply a patch earlier this morning in the hope it would fix the freezing, before I tried the new firmware. That was probably it.

Is anyone else playing this on a SC DSTWO?

I'm asking since I am and have been playing it for a few hours but I had it freeze up the last time I played.

Just want to know if this happens to other users using the DSTWO or if it was just a random freeze on my part.

Ah, yeah it's the same firmware, different site.
If you applied the patch earlier than that's what fixed your game

So at least I found someone who confirmed that for me so I can add it to my firmware.

Glad it could help =D I think I may actually replace the firmware fulltime if I can change the skin for Wood, it's a bitch to see on the old dark DS. It goes through menus much faster though.

Now to wait for Okamiden!

When I open the SweetTnDs Rar file I'm met with about 21 seperate RAR files, all seemingly having the same thing inside them, and a .SFV file.

What exactly am I meant to do with these? O.o

I'm trying to patch it, but I have no idea which one to patch.

You have to click one of the parts tahn you see a nds file.
Extract the nds file to a other map and you will have the rom!

You should be able to extract those into one file or just find a different rom from a different site if you are really not sure what to do.

I've had problems with split zip/rar files before, so if it comes up with an error, try extracting from the .rar file. There should only be one, followed by files along the lines of .r01, .r02 etc.

I still don't get the point of RARs within RARs ¬_¬

Yeah, I was being a huge nub, and didn't bother extracting ALL the .rar files, I tried to do them one at a time, so was confused when it asked me for the others. Didn't realise you had to take them ALL out at once, then try to extract it. But I got it now.

However, I'm still having problems. I patched it with both the Open Patch AND Dicastia patch, however when I transfer them over to me AK21 (running 1.8.5a with latest loaders) It just gets stuck on the yellow loading screen. Tried with both Black and White.

Am I the only one getting this problem?

Confirmed to work completely with the patch on an R4i Ultra, AKAIO 1.8.1.

Why are you using 1.8.1? The latest is 1.8.5.
