Homebrew N64 emulator question

So i had asked previously about my nunchuck not being detected on n64 emulators to which people replied that they might be 3rd party (bought the system 2nd hand so no idea if they're original or 3rd party)
Anyways now I have ordered a wireless gamecube controller
What are the chances that this controller will work on n64 emulators? Also will this work others like gamecube, snes emu and maybe some wii games?

You didn't say if you i have a backwards compatible wii or not. Otherwise it won't work at all I don't think. No gamecube ports.

If you do have a backwards compatible wii, I think just gamecube games only as far as I know, maybe a select few Wii games. The better choice would have been a Wii classic controller because it can work with all of those. Well, only certain Wii most Wii games have only one way to play them the wiimote.

I say I think because it's possible someone made a way to use gamecube controllers with wii emulators. But I don't think it'd be possible using it at all without those gamecube ports.

yea my wii has gamecube ports and yes the controller that i am ordering has the receiver thing which goes in the gamecube port
