Might be more believable if they could actually even compile the thing as they posted they couldn't do.

Not only that but nearly every recent thread on the SC Forum has been filled by their teams posting completely irrelevant stuff, making me heavily believe they couldn't create anything like an N64 Emulator.

Don't get me wrong, but if they manage to make an almost perfectly running Emulator I'll gladly eat my words...

The outlook on this is dim.
I mean, even project64 can't emulate the N64 100% of the time! And that crap runs on pcs!
What's the chance it's going to work on the ds?

Hell even the psp n64 emulator sucks.

N64 emulators have NEVER been up to par. This one will fail as well...

So people are going to work hard to make something unusable for hardware that'l be obsolete in 3-5 months?

Why make anymore DS games when the DS will be obsolete in 3-5 months? Why is homebrew on the GBA still going on when it's been obsolete for about 6 years? People do things because they can.

And because it's still fun

Mother 3 is a great game but it's still great even if it is on an outdated system
The same can be said about FF7

have you read things they have posted on the forum there?

one of the guys seems to think things written in assembly takes up a lot of computer resources. he also thinks that it is impossable to write a n64 emulator with just assembly. also, that no one is truly that good with it.
truth time:
things written in assembly: smaller, efficient, use less memory/cpu cycles. anything is possible in assembly, of course a n64 emu in pure assembly would be very tough though. you should at least know some assembly, or at least learn about it, read up on it, if you want to be a coder.

also, they seem to think that dsi mode is hacked and want this to be "dsi only"

The DSi has been hacked, but not in a way that would be considered "user-friendly" like what we have available for the normal DS.
No, it hasn't been hacked. The reason why flashcarts work is because they bypass the old flashcart block. And this has absolutely nothing to do with hacking the DSi.

Classic World Games is a DSi-enhanced game that is capable of running in DSi-mode, for which Team Twiizers accessed. Like I said, it's not in any way a "user-friendly" method.

Are there any DSi-mode flashcarts? Do you see any DSi homebrew publicly available? Is there a DSi homebrew channel or installer? No. Hence the reason why I say it isn't hacked.

But you arguing that it is hacked doesn't change the fact that the group making this emulator thinks that it's possible to make DS-mode homebrew run only on DSis.

My bad. Meant project64

He originally said it had been hacked in a way not user friendly. He is correct. You are incorrect in saying it hasn't been hacked at all.

He is right its hacked but who would want to do all that work nonetheless its still hacked.

As odd as it is. Just imagine, if only for a moment that they were successful.

They would become gods. xD

I'm not saying that it's not hacked at all, I'm saying it isn't hacked to the level that I'd consider useful. If you can't use the hack, then it doesn't help you.
But the main point I'm making is that the team making this wants to make it DSi-only, but they can't because DSi Mode isn't accessible from the DSTWO.

This is going off-topic. Sorry for derailing, everyone.

So then you are agreeing with me, and are disagreeing with what you said earlier.
