I'm one of those three soft bricks, lol. AFAIK all my files are okay. I used the latest sysupdater. It soft-bricked and I just noped out. I don't want to risk a complete brick.

I'm waiting for confirmation that this thing isn't going to complete-brick my N3DS through no fault of my own. If that means KTM, then so be it.

N3dsll 10.1.XJ, updated to 10.3.28J then downgraded to 9.1.X. Succeed.

it takes most of time trying to access sysupdater and execute the downgrade. it stuck at #4,#5 even #8. After this, everything works fine.

i remove the downgrade package "000400102002CA00.cia" coz someone said that it may cause n3dsll bricked.

Blame menuhax. Just change your theme after putting the SD card and it'll be fixed.

I can confirm this working on 10.3 u. took me like 50 tries but it worked. I recommend formatting your micro sd card

Specs:
-Launch N3DSXL Red
-10.3.0.28U
-Console and SD card formatted just in case

Worked via HomeMenuHax first try! Note I used the sysupdater from "that pastebin link" as the other ones I tried all got stuck at #4 or #7. Took about a minute and rebooted just fine.

restart the 3ds then get it to the the screen press y once then let it load it wont respond for a minute

Bricked one of my Jap n3ds systems. From 10.3 to 9.2. Downloaded fw from that ISO site. Sad day. Got over zealous and destroyed Two of my systems. Failed right after native_firm cuz it couldn't find the other cia files.

Have not tried any of the recent builds. Will tomorrow when I get a new system.

You didn't delete the specific news cia, did you? Leaving that file in causes a brick on jn3ds

Is anyone having problems with installing FBI after downgrading? I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I got RxTools to launch into emuNAND, but I can't get any further.

I'm now on a 9.2.0-20E firmware working all properly !
