"The Guide" states to update the 3ds towards the end then asks you to launch the homebrew launcher in order to execute dspdump.3ds, The homebrew launcher currently does not boot on 11.3 even after transferring a new otherapp.bin created for 11.3 I can't load homebrew launcher. Error message as follows: 00001000
01fcf000
d8e17406
Something failed :(
please report error code above
Has anyone got a work around for this?

afaik homebrew(smea's hax etc)doesn't work on 11.3 right now.
Do you have a backup of 11.2?

EDIT: never mind, it's working now. Sorry.

Have you tried using soundhax to boot dspdump?

no I haven't tried using sound hax to boot it. would I just rename dspdump to boot.3dsx then run soundhax. and how important is it to do the dspdump anyway? I'm not sure what it is?

all dspdump does is dump a file that allows you to hear sound in homebrew (.3dsx) apps. It is almost never useful - so don't worry about it if you don't care about little poc games.

I would just boot the homebrew loader through a primary entrypoint instead of the cia, and see if that works. But again, it's not too useful.
