I hope you all had fun playing N+ today but one thing a lot of people didn't like was the music (me too) so I'm starting to hack it.

Here's what I've done:

1. Unpack it
2. Go to NDS_UNPACK\data\Sound and you will see some .pcm files (you can edit this) but we want to go to NDS_UNPACK\data\Sound\Music
3. Open a file (you pick which one) with Audacity (Google it)
4. Set the sample rate to "11025Hz"
5. Paste what you want in there
6. Set the sample rate to "44100Hz"
7. Now here's the error: we can't put the .pcm back.

Thanks!

"it goes super-fast"
I have not got the game but from when we were playing with SDAT before it go to the stage it is at today the sample rate was far lower (space issues and the fact the DS audio systems are not so brilliant).
Basically lower the sample rate.

Someone MUST use this song for the hack:

Xam'd OP - Shut Up and Explode

from Boom Boom Satellites

Ya I was thinking that but I'm not very good with Audacity at all so someone needs to help!

P.S. I can put in songs in but I can't send them as they are copyrighted. I'm just making a guide about how to do it yourself.

What is Audacity? Some sort of converter?
If it is, then what file formats does it support?
Yes its a editor/convert. We tried using it for GH: OT and we got so near.... Here's the link http://audacity.sourceforge.net/latest/aud...y-win-1.2.6.exe

EDIT: About every one

I've converted a WAV to PCM (Or i think it was a pcm, altough the converter said the wav was conveted to pcm the file still had the .wav extension). And repacked the rom. Besides not working, i've added 2megs to the rom with that audio file (that it was only 1 minute long). It was Classic1.pcm, when i played the third chapter the game froze in two black screens.

PCM files are NOT the same as WAV's or MP3's. I think that Music hacking is quite impossible.
