I got a 16GB flash disk 2 years ago for loading my backup games. I fomatted it then with wbfs manager into a wbfs drive, everything worked fine. I decided to format it to fat32 so that it could be read by my laptop and I could add other files as well. When plugged on the Wii it could not be detected by WiiMC and wiiflow (could not get custom forwarder channels to be detected).

Does the Wii really have a memory for every device you plug into it as always wbfs or always fat32? Will my flash disk ever be detected as fat32?

Thanks for future answers guys.

I have formatted from wbfs to fat32 numerous times with it working fine each time.

Yeah, flashdrive. Didn't work though. After formatting it, I clicked on it and Windows said it wasn't formatted so I formatted it to FAT32 using Windows, put a movie in and plugged it into the Wii. Still no detection by WiiMC.

Hmmm. Anyone else have an idea?

Yep, that did the trick! The flash disk is now recognized in WiiMC. Thanks a lot man.

Highly recommended download.
