Much longer than that, actually.

Computers have existed for thousands of years (slide rules, or an abacus, etc. are tehcnically computers by definition).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counting_rods
same as electricity (amber in ancient Greece),
https://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/resources/2745-electricity-electrons-insulators-and-conductors
portable gaming devices used during school free time (the game board in ancient Egypt),
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senet
and the concept of robots (A mechancial bird in an ancient Greek book)

.

Now, consider the analogy of a chaotic pianist with current AI use:
-The pianist starts with a simple melody.
-he wants a greater audience; he begins playing sudden, loud notes at intervals
-this attracts a larger audience, out of curiosity and surprise.
-he slowly descends his piano piece into chaos; dissonance everywhere.
-the audience is no longer remotely amused; they leave for another pianist.

This is the AI we are coming across now.
AI has been around since near the time of Adam and Eve, it just changes form.
But this current AI will collapse and be replaced.
