Dumb question. What program do you use for these dds files? All normal DDS programs are erroring or crashing on these.

I use chaiNNer.

Do you want me to do them in PNG then you can use something else to convert them to DDS?

I can convert them with other tools, I'm just confused because the native texture ripping in PCSX2 comes out as pngs for me. So I don't understand why yours are dds and why I would need to match that format either

I convert them to DDS after upscaling so save some space on my Mediafire storage. DDS packs can also be used on Android.

If you mean dumping the textures, you can go to settings in PCSX2, then to Graphics -> Texture Replacement. You can enable Dump Textures from there. Then you just play through the games.

If you need dumps of games to mess around with, I backed up most of mine and I'd be happy to share them :)

Can you convert them to png for me? I downloaded 2 different conversion programs and both murder the output for some reason.
 
It took about 2 weeks but I finally have an account where I wanted to thank you for all your hard work.
 
Just an update on the NT2004 stuff. It took writing some custom code (glad PCSX2 is open source), but I got the car textures to export in a nice way for me to replace them, FINALLY. It won't necessarily work for other games, was very much a 'hack' but it works for that particular game, and that's plenty good enough for me.

Out of curiosity @Bl4ckH4nd how many packs are you currently working on? You seem to be very generous in taking on requests, I'm in awe of your hard work.

I'm currently busy with around 5 or 6 games, just for PS2. I tend to shuffle the games so I don't get burnt out on one.

I'm always happy to take requests, I add them to a list I have that's sorted by console. I don't do them in any particular order but I tend to look at how long a game is. Racing, sports and fighting games usually go quick at least :)

Thanks. I am just trying to get into upscaling and have read your posts and others but I am still unsure of what I need to do.
