Gaming My N3DS won't read its microSD card. Why?

I currently don't have any CFW installed just so you know. This problem first appeared a couple months ago, then went away on its own. But then several days ago, it came back. What's worse is that I've opened up the back TWICE, removed the microSD card from its port in both instances, and IT STILL WILL NOT be recognized by my N3DS! I even blew air on the card on the second attempt! could it be that either my system has decaying parts, or is it the microSD card itself?

May I ask, can your pc read the sd card?

Maybe you have it on read only mode

(That didn’t help at all did it?) I meant that some sd cards have a mode that does not let you access them

Reformat it as per instructions in that thread:

MicroSD card not usable after creating bootable USB

If you manage to get to the H2testw portion, just know if the card fails at any point OR instantly passes (locked in read-only mode), it's no good. Card needs to be replaced.
