Just a heads up, Super Mario is a Platformer, not Adventure. Adventure would be like King's Quest or Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney.

    Also, Megaman 2 [IMG]

i personally find this really cool. adults who put real effort to get into gaming are respected by me. especially if they are doing it to bond with their kids more and what not.
this did not happen to me btw sadly. my mom just plays Zuma all night long

Show her ScummVM and games like the Monkey Island Series, and the Sam and Max and Broken Sword series.

This SNES platformer in which you are a big headed kid and you stomp with your head. I don't remember the name but it was awesome.

    OH YEAH.

Bonk. Well, Super Bonk, it's more colorful.

But leave her a crafting recipe sheet if she's not that tech savvy like my grandparents. (I mean, they wouldnt be able to find something specific on google.)

i did try make her play tetris and bejeweled she discarted them right away, as for games like monkey island [IMG] cant really do, mostly because of languague, our main isnt english, so i cant have her a thinking game mostly in english, the zuma game seems pretty cool for her to try, and indee games is really what i have been searching for her, no stuff on snes tough, i dont want her calling everytime she messes up with emulators, i tought about sonic tough [IMG] wonder if her eyes, gona be able to keep up.

Zuma and Ricochet. Great casual games to pass some time.
