ok i had my plan set on making a Unit Translation since i know most of the units.
but here comes the thing.
i Never learned Font Hacking, and i am kindly interested to learn

would anyone gladly help me with this ?
Also a Sidenote from me:
if i woulda make a full translation i would get a crew along that does each a series from those people's and units.

Leave the game, you don't have the skills to hack it. If you want to just translate the names that's doable but you can't hack the font for this game nor do a full translation. Only 2-3 people exist in these forums that can completely hack it.

well even for the fact that i can't i can learn it can i ?
if i can't find something informal i just gonna google till i drop
i already unpacked it and my next intention was looking long enough to the image play and all are written in .bin files except one 1 special tiny HUGE file. that was reasoned as a .sdat for the sound packaging.

speaking of which. are the units described in font or in text ?

The game uses a custom compression for all it's files apart from arm9.bin, y7.bin, y9.bin and the overlays IIRC. unless you know how to debug you aren't going anywhere. And if I remember correctly somewhere in a thread KiC said that the compression was really advanced so I guess you're really out of luck

Not exactly.

Anyway, as they say. Three different compressions. One of them average, one easy, and one surprisingly advanced for its origin. Font support is hard coded SJIS with a width of either 8 or 12 pixels. No ascii support, and nothing will fit without redoing all the menu layouts.
