I have recently been able to get a lot of original copies of good CD based games (MvC2, ICO, etc) as well as some small normal DVD-based games (EX. Alien Hominid). I've converted the CD games into DVD games and patched the ISO with ESR. However, I would like to save DVDs if possible. Is there an easy method of burning 2 ISOs on a single DVD-R with a way to pick which loads? I know there is one for the Wii, but it's different from this.

Yes there is but i believe it won't work with ESR, only with chipped systems.

Applications and Tools needed

We need the following tools in order to create our compilations!!!
1. Cdloader (available on the net and ps2modz paradise forums)
2. Isobuster (freeware version available on the net)
3. Dvdscan 3 lite by Sonix (Grab it from www.alucard.cc or www.ps2ownz.com)
4. $ony cd/dvd generator (Do not ask for this cause its copyrighted, search on the net with a search engine)
5. Gnie’s Dvd iml2iso (Grab it from www.alucard.cc)
6. Msystem.cnf Generator by Gherudos (Grab it from www.alucard.cc or www.ps2ownz.com)
7. burning Software (Dvd decrypter or similar)

How To

First of all get the tools and the applications...
Unzip the cdloader and you ll have an iso image and a txt with instructions.
After you install Isobuster open the cdloader iso with isobuster.
then extract all the files in your hard disk in a temporary dir
Next for my tutorial i ll use 2 games Spyro the Dragon and Hunter both are full dvd games....
Now extract with isobuster or copy and paste the game files in 2 seperate dirs for not be messed up.
For example F:\Spyro\ -> spyro’s game files
And F:\Hunter\ -> Hunter’s game files
After that delete from both games the file system.cnf cause we do not need them.

Now we open the Msystem.cnf generator:

Enter the amount of the games you wish to compile, in our case we enter the number 2 in the bracket and we press the button make file.

Next a window will pop up and asks to fill the name of the 1st game
in our case we enter Hunter and press ok...
Then a new window will pop up that asks for the name of the executable file the Sles Slus Scus etc..
We just enter the following:
Sles_518.23 and press ok

next do the same for Spyro and a Msystem.cnf file will be created you in the dir that you have the Msystem maker.
Now take the new Msystem.cnf file and replace it with cdloader’s Msystem.cnf file.

Then we are ready for the $ony Cd/dvd generator
Choose create new project, then DVD-ROM Master Disc and press OK
Now you'll come up with a menu.

Then press the Volume Tab and fill in the gaps the Disc name which is the first game’s elf file in our case Sles 51823
The producer’s name which is you
And in the Volume write a Label what ever you want.

Next press the Directory Tab and place all the files
Starting from the cdloader files
Next the first game’s files and then the Second’s game files
With the order they are in their original form.
That means that you must open your dvds with isobuster and see the order of the files
And place them in the exact order but without their system.cnf file
You must keep only the cdloaders system.cnf file

Then press the REC button:
Now you have 2 choises.

Burning

If you have a pioneer dvd burner with the pioneer patch recording unit like me you are very lucky
If you press the rec button no error messages will appear and your job is done
You ll come up with this screen, export temporary iml file.
that asks you where you want your iml files and .lst to be saved
then a new window will pop up,cd/dvd-rom recording unit controller.

press the record button and thats all a .lst file will be created for you and your iso generating will start immediately, then the recording will start and congratulations
you have succeded in creating a multi game dvd

If you are using Other Burners

After you press the REC button:

in $ony cd/dvd generator you ll come up with a few error messages.
Just ignore them and press File/ export image.
Then give the name of the .iml and .lst file you wish to be created and press save.
After that you have to wait till some files are created.
If you named the .iml for example multi.iml
You ll have a few files like multi001 multi002 etc
Then open the command prompt:
Go from start/run and wtite cmd if you are using windows xp or call the dos for windows 98 and write the following:
copy /b multi.000+multi.001+multi.002 multifinal.iso
then you ll have an iso.
which you can burn with your favourite burning software.
I prefer dvd decrypter.

Or do this by using Gnie’s dvd iml2iso
After you export your .iml and .ims files open the Gnie’s dvd iml2iso, then Browse your .iml file and press start.
Now wait till your final .iso has been created

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
